Disney Colors Photo Challenge – 15 – Starts with an E

Elephant was my first thought for this day of the challenge and then I convinced myself that I would only use it as a backup… obviously I didn’t find anything else. All joking aside, Alex and I knew we wanted to go on Kilimanjaro Safari when we were looking at WDW and so it was a quick and easy decision to book it in our FastPass+. After reading about some of the experiences online, we opted to go for a time that was earlier in the morning that it wasn’t too hot for the animals or us. There were a wide array of animals that we got to see, and although we missed some I still managed to get some great shots and we had a good time. The only somewhat downside, was that we were surrounded by fairly tall people, on our row and the rows in front and behind us were in the same boat so it was hard for me to see anything that wasn’t on the same side as me – but that’s just short people problems.

In any case, if you love animals, safaris, Animal Kingdom, photography, rides, attractions, or just like to sit down for a few then this is definitely something you don’t want to skip. One of the perks is that no matter how many times you get on your Safari Bus it will never be the same – I think Pocahontas said something similar about rivers once ;).
